The Ellen DeGeneres Show finally snagged George Clooney!
Ellen DeGeneres has been on a mission to lure George Clooney onto her show for a long, long time. It’s been a riot, just to watch her go through all the stunts she has perpetrated to land George Clooney.
Today, on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, was the big George Clooney day. Nothing would lure Clooney onto Ellen’s show, until he was offered the chance to appear with two of his heroes. Johnny Bench and Joe Morgan, both Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famers captured George Clooney’s attention. He jumped at the chance to be on the Ellen DeGeneres guest list for the day, just to meet these two Hall of Famers.
George was on his best behavior and was genuinely a lot of fun, for the short few minutes a was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. Note: Clooney’s appearance on Ellen’s show was not for an indepth interview. George is great at “goofing” on the talk shows, when he does appear, but it’s rare that Clooney will give personal interviews.
Clooney did share, one of the reasons that he didn’t show up on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” before now. George claimed it was because he had an extremely busy schedule and simply couldn’t fit in the time; until now.
As with most of the Ellen DeGeneres shows, what we just saw today, was taped ahead of time. Today’s show was shot last Thursday.
